About Us
At Little Stories Drama Academy, we believe every child has a story worth telling.
Founded with the simple mission of bringing joy to young people through dramatic exploration, our academy creates a space where children can imagine boldly, express freely, and grow confidently.
Our founder, Gayathri Gomatam, has lived a life steeped in theatre and dance. A passionate storyteller with over 25 years of performing arts experience, Gayathri has spent decades discovering the power of expression and the magic of stepping into character. Through Little Stories Drama Academy, she shares that passion with the next generation—helping each child find their own voice on stage, in the classroom or even with their friends.
Based in Melbourne, we run engaging drama programs, public speaking workshops, school incursions and holiday programs focusing on building confidence, boosting creativity, and developing strong, expressive communication skills.

Bringing Drama to Life in the Classroom
Our Drama Program is designed to bring the magic of storytelling straight into the school day—available as a half-day or full-day incursion tailored to suit your school's schedule and space.
Most importantly, we will work with your school to design a tailor-made incursion that suits your childrens' needs! Our activities and incursion are designed to be modular.
Through a blend of movement, voice work, improvisation and character play, students are guided through a series of hands-on drama exercises that build confidence, spark imagination and get every child actively participating and having fun.
Highlights of the program include:
Warm-up games that build trust, focus and ensemble energy
Voice and movement exercises that help children explore expression without self-consciousness
Improvisation and storytelling activities that spark imagination and quick thinking
Character work that encourages empathy and perspective-taking
Reflective group activities that let children share what they've discovered about themselves and each other
